SAINT TONIS COLLEGE, INC. AND INFORMATICS COLLEGE – CAVITE FORGE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
 
Tabuk City, July 25, 2025 – Despite inclement weather, a significant step towards enhancing educational opportunities and fostering global competitiveness was taken today as Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) officially forged a partnership with Informatics College – Imus, Cavite Campus. The collaboration, solidified during a productive Zoom meeting, aims to provide job-ready and internationally recognized training and microcredentials to a wider community.
 
The virtual meeting saw key representatives from both institutions come together to discuss the exciting new venture. From Informatics College – Imus, Cavite Campus, attendees included Dr. Myrthle Guimbatan, Campus Director; Marilou Dela Cruz, Operations Head; Annaliza Belonio, Sales and Marketing Head; and Donnalyn Mengote, Academic Head.
 
Saint Tonis College, Inc. was well-represented by Dr. Kathleen Rose L. Guimbatan, School President; Dr. Rosiebille C. Galban, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Mardonio M. Agustin, Jr., Director of Quality Assurance for Tertiary; Mr. Angelito J. Alfonso, Director of Quality Assurance for Basic Education; Hope Lulet A. Lomioan, Director for Internationalization, Promotion, Alumni Affairs, and Community Extension; Mayeth T. Valdez, Dean, College of Teacher Education; Sherry Mae M. Edades, Dean, College of Computing and Information Technology; and Zustamita Zhen G. Dumirag, Microcredentials Coordinator.
 
A major highlight of the meeting was STCI’s announcement of its plans to establish a Center for Learning and Innovation. This new center is envisioned as a central hub for cutting-edge training and microcredential programs. These programs will not only benefit STCI’s current students and faculty members but will also be extended to its alumni and partner extension communities, ensuring a broader reach and impact.
 
This partnership with Informatics College – Cavite is expected to significantly bolster STCI’s capacity to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant education, preparing individuals for the demands of the modern workforce and global stage. Both institutions expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, anticipating a future of shared growth and enhanced educational outcomes.
